Fifty-One Trio Starter Kits $22.76 - $174.96 with 8 Kit Options

Fifty-One’s The Trio can been seen in almost every gas station in my area now. The real shame in it, few carry The Duo as well. The Trio e cigarette was sent to us for review and we will go over the contents, the use, and general opinions in this review. The kit comes with:

51 Trio Electronic Cigarettes

The Trio electronic cigarette has several things going well for it.  The first being the presentation upon receipt.  This kit looks professional and great.  The next is the company backing it.  Fifty-One is a large company that is not going anywhere without a fight.  They offer great customer service, fast shipping, secure checkout page, and a lifetime replacement warranty.

When I first used the e cigarette, I did not get much vapor as you can see in the video review.  The atomizer needs to be primed before it will produce better vapor.  So do not be turned off by the first couple puffs.  It does get better and produces an amount of vapor that is the equivalent to the smoke you would get from your cigarettes. It produces more vapor than products from Blu and Luci, but is still no where close to the Duo by Fifty-One.  The vapor amount would be adequate for the average consumer, but I am on the side that enjoys more vapor.

The throat hit was minimal with this electronic cigarette, which is not a bad thing for everyone.  Most social smokers or light smokers do not like an electronic cigarette that provides a harsh feeling.  Being a heavy smoker, I actually enjoy the stronger throat hit.

The taste was good, close to a tobacco, but not quite the same as your regular cigarettes.  However, we do advise that no e cigarette will ever taste exactly like a cigarette because the science behind them is different and there is no burning occurring that produces the general taste of a cigarette.  Keep in mind that with the Fifty-One products that doctors have supported them and stated that there are no carcinogens in their liquid.  So if you are looking for a smoking alternative without 4000+ chemicals, the Fifty-One ensure you are not ingesting that many chemicals to get your nicotine fix.

You can buy liquid from anyone and easily refill these cartridges, but if you want pre-filled cartridges, Fifty-One does offer those.  The flavors they offer are:

  1. Tobacco
  2. Menthol

You may wonder why they only offer those two flavors and the answer is to keep kids from using electronic cigarettes.  It is believed by anti-smoking groups and the FDA that only kids like flavors and that will encourage them to take up the use of e cigarettes.  Now I know that sounds ridiculous, but that is their belief and we respect Fifty-One for leading the way in ensuring no one under 18 gets their electronic cigarettes. Overall, I would recommend this electronic cigarette to social to light smokers.  While you can get better deals online, in a pinch you can run to the local gas station or mall and pick up some refill cartridges.  If you smoke more than 3/4 of a pack a day, then we recommend you get The Duo by Fifty-One.

    I’ve used a few brands of E-cigarettes. the Fifty-One Trio is perhaps ranked the lowest in my opinion. The battery doesn’t last but maybe 30-40 puffs…the taste is low quality. The best I’ve tried is V2 E-Cigarettes and the easiest to get is Mystic..sold at almost all truck stops such as LOVES. Walmart has a E-cigarette but it has a terrible taste.

    Lifetime warrenty, the vaping is pretty good. I got mine for $50 and its worth it(with charger, extra battery, 1 atomizer, and 6 cart). I refill mine with esmokey treats eliquid which makes it vape even better. Switching from a cig, well it is heavier but who cares really? The vape takes a tad longer than a normal cig but not by much at all…..smokes better than a real cig honestly. Being a pack a day smoker, the battery last me around 9-10 hours of normal use. Is it the best product? Maybe not but is it a good product…YES

    Shortly after buying my first starter kit, I realized I’d probably need another. It helps to have at least two batteries…that way you have one ready while the other is charging. I haven’t had to order refills yet because of the starter kits but I intend on going a little stronger. I haven’t really had any problems with the vapor or anything else and to my surprise, I’m not smoking real cigarettes for the first time in 20 years. Yes, if the battery were lighter, it might feel more like a real cigarette but I’m pretty happy with it so far. I figure if I’m going to smoke, might as well make it cheaper and maybe a little safer. Plus, I get to “smoke” in places that I normally wouldn’t. I’d recommend this to about anyone. Can’t really hurt to try it…

    LOVE this product. I just bought it yesterday and I have not smoked a real cigarette so far. I have been trying to quit and I think this product will help a lot. I think the taste is great and as far as someone saying it doesn’t produce vapors, that is not the case at all for me. It produces a lot of vapor and be sure to read Dana’s comment because I have found that to be true.

    Bought my fifty-one trio on a whim because the store I work in got a shipment. I do not regret it! My model only came with one battery though. I’m fixing to invest in some spare parts. Anyone not wanting their trio anymore I will be more than willing to take it off your hands! And I LOVE that the filters can hold e-juice so well! I have no complaints and those who do need to remember the reason you bought your e-cigarette. Me? My children. Thanks Fifty- one for making putting cigarettes down simpler. God bless.

    Bought my trio about a week ago and havn’t had a real cig in 4 days. spent the first 3 using up the last of my carton. so far im impressed. i bought mine at the mall and the salesman got it all set up for me including preping the atomizer, which is what i think alot of people forget to do. they dont read the instructions. iv had some problems with the amount of vapor i get but found its because i had just screwed the filter on too tight. in all a great buy i might have spent a bit more on it than i should have but when it comes down to it you cant put a price on good health.

    I LOVE these. I have been using the 51 Trio for over 6 weeks, and I have not smoked a real cigarette for 5.5 weeks. I find that 1 cartomizer lasts me about 24 hours. The filters slightly less than that. I love the taste of the tobacco flavor. I have tried several different strengths of the nicotine. I LOVE how much vapor you get. It actually gives you a satisfactory hit to the chest as well, unlike some others I have tried that just stung your throat a bit (if anything) and still left you craving. The batteries last 6 hours or so? I made sure to buy several so I always have 1 charging. I have HIGHLY recommended these to everyone I talk to. I love that the atomizer does not get super hot and that there is no burnt taste. It is heavier than a regular cig, but they all are since they are not made out of paper and crushed leaves. Not really a big deal.

    i just got this item today and i absolutely love it! i have been struggling with quitting smoking and i am proud to say that i havnt smoked a single cigarette since i started with this! i actually like it much more than a normal one because there is no nasty feeling or taste at the end. It worked great, you have to “prime ” it up a little bit in the beginning like lighting a reg cig but once you get it going its great!

    After using the product for 2 1/2 weeks i tend to disagree with the 1 and only comment posted here,The vapor is more like a regular cigarette and the taste is better than the real cigs i used to buy, as far as the fact someone said it was heavy they did not problably give themselves time to get used to it, granted it is heavi er than a regular cigarette but seein g it is electronic it does hav a bit of weight to it but if anyone has smoked pipe before it is about the same.

    I have found that you have to inhale slowly (slowly pull vapor into mouth then inhale) and with soft lips. It is not the same type of inhale as with a regular cigarette. That helped me get a better throat hit, and produce a lot more vapor.

    Am dissappointed in the cigarette. Heavy, dosent produce vaports…this is important to simulate a real cigarette. At least with exhaled vapors, it would seem real to the mind, but when you exhale nothing and all you see is the light on the tip of the cigarette light up, you feel like your just inhaling air out of a tube.
