There was a lot of buzz about Halo Cigs releasing an electronic cigarette kit over the past year and it has finally arrived. I couldn’t get my message off to Halo quick enough to get a kit sent our way for review and I am glad I did. I have been using the Halo Cigs sampler pack electronic cigarette for over a month now and I love it.
The kit is a three piece design and is generally for more advanced e cigarette consumers, however don’t let that turn you away if you are new to electronic cigarettes. Halo Cigs requires that you fill your own liquid but you will save a lot of money doing this, much like rolling your own cigarettes.
To get started you just need to plug in the batteries to charge them to make sure you get the longest battery life out of your new Halo Cigs e cig. Next you have empty Halo cartridges ready to be filled with different kinds of Halo E-Liquid. I recommend you only put menthol ones through one atomizer and tobacco through the other as each kit comes with two Halo Cigs atomizers. This will keep the integrity of the flavors in place.
Once you have the charged battery, filled cartridges, and atomizers ready, put them together and start smoking (or vaping as you soon will be calling it).
Each flavor was amazing and we have individual reviews up or coming soon for each of them. The Halo eCigarette provides a smooth draw and large amounts of vapor. The throat hit was perfect and emulated a traditional cigarette quite well.
After using the Halo Cigs Sampler Kit for about a month now, I still have only good things to say about it. If you are looking for a three piece e cig, go with Halo or firebrand and you will be satisfied with not only your e cigarette but the customer service as well.
If you want simplicity in a two piece design check out premium e cigarette, V2 Cigs, or The Safe Cig.

My concern with ecigs has always been cartridge cost. This drove me away from the safecig. Functionally, a very good ecig, works very well, good flavor, many performance variables working in its favor. However, even with their buy 2 get 1 free promotion on cartridges, I’m still having to reorder 25$ worth of cartridges every 2 weeks. Would I do it to continue not smoking? Absolutely. However, will I try to find a more cost effective solution yielding the same quality (if such thing exists)? Absolutely.
Cartridge consistency (on pre filled cartridges) and cost of those cartridges are the most crucial variables for me, and I would think, most ecig consumers. Its where you have to continually spend money. First, I would advocate looking at ecigs featuring refillable cartridges. This will save you time, money, and memory (I don’t care for having to remember to reorder cartridges every 2 weeks, and then waiting 4 days to get them, nor do I want to be in some renewal program where I pay 50$ for pre filled cartridges, reference to the South Beach ecigs, listed as #1 on this site). Call me lazy, thats fine. IF I can maintain relative quality on other aspects of ecig functionality coupled with a refillable cartridge, I’m a happy camper.
Halo ecigs are just that. 30 ml of eliquid for $20? That bottle has lasted me almost two months, and I refill every day. Compare this to the three 5 packs I had to purchase every 2 weeks for $25? No debate here. However, does Halo maintain quality in other areas, so I’m not losing quality in other aspects of ecig. The answer is it actually performs better, in my opinion, than safecig, South Beach, and firebrand (3 other brands I have purchased). Firebrand was very close, but I give the nod to Halo on price, battery appearance, and vapor flavor. Halo outperforms the other two with ease. Halo battery life is legit (easily go full day w/o recharging), the torque flavor is the best eliquid I have tried to date, can’t beat price (in my experience) in 30 ml for $20, and produces more vapor than all but firebrand. I would say firebrand vapor production was comparable, but not better.
This is the best buy for an ecig consumer. Show me a better product at comparable cost. Just show me a better product first. I haven’t tried them all, but I have tried 4 of the top 10 on this website, and Halo is easily the best. No comparison, just buy it, you won’t be disappointed.
